A bus trip will leave the show site at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. Transportation will be an air conditioned coach bus and is being provided free of charge by the Upper Midwest A-C Club™. No need to sign up, first come, first serve. Any one who is interested can check in with the registration desk in the pavilion and we will guide you from there. Signs will also be displayed around the fairgrounds. The bus will be leaving from the vendor area promptly.
There will be three stops and three fun rural shops.
One stop will be at the Bonnie Mohr Studio located four miles south of Silver Lake. She is well-known for painting cows, but her popularity has grown for her full line of artwork. Rural American Artist Bonnie Mohr will feature a fine art print of an Allis-Chalmers tractor during this year’s Orange Spectacular. Bonnie will have prints for sale of this new painting, still in progress, and will be personalizing and signing them FREE during this year’s event.
Another stop will be at Meshed Designs to visit Amber Haugen in her 1920s decommissioned dairy barn where you will find trendy home furnishings, refurbished and newly built furniture and gifts.
A third stop will be at the Koniska Country Store near Glencoe where Cindy Svoboda presents re-purposed and up-cycled treasures, scrap iron finds and hand-crafted items.
